Get ready for the race of your life!
As seen on the reality TV show, The Amazing Race, select your team of 2-5 and prepare yourselves to compete in mental and physical challenges while conquoring obstacles to arrive at secret locations within a 7km radius of beautiful Sunninghill;
The AMAZING urban RACE in association with Suncomm encourages families (even the kids can get involved), groups of friends, neighbours or work colleagues to enter teams and take part in an event filled with fun, adventure and exploring hidden gems and centres in the area.
At the start, teams will receive a clue board containing multiple clues, Each clue will need to be un-puzzled and solved before you can drive and “check-in” at each location. You will need to participate in short activities before you will be allowed to continue to your next destination. Once all clues have been completed successfully, your team will make headway to the final destination and run through the finish and onto the Amazing Race mat. The race will run for approximately 3 hours from start to finish, however the cut off where teams will have to return to the finish area will be just before prize-giving (3,5 hours from start), even if they have not completed all tasks.
Come dressed in comfortable clothes, make sure your cell phones are fully charged and your cars have enough petrol.
Team cost is R1000 (5 members per team) early bird entries until 15 July thereafter R1200 per team which will include a full goodie bag given at the start of the race and wonderful prizes for the 1st team and best dressed/most spirited team as well as various spot prizes.
